8th March – International Women’s Day

To all the girls out there – HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!

Celebrate the joy of being female and the challenges met.

Gain strength from every step taken and take another step forward.

Yes – well, I will be moving this blog to be my main webpage…….. with the help of my webhost and hopefully it will survive the move!

We shall see………….! Market day tomorrow so I’m going to be busy prepping some items for the stall and hopefully it won’t be too wet and windy.

The forecast is for a wild and wet day and there is another event happening on another part of the island so it will be interesting to see how many people will actually turn up at Penneshaw tomorrow.

What a dizzy couple of weeks!!!

Well – it’s been a while since my last post but I have been flat out at work and just plain tired by the time I get home. Only enough energy to have a glass of wine and chill out in front of the TV…….. long weekend ahead, looking forward to some ‘head space’ and R&R!!!!!!!!!!

December Soaps
December Soaps

These are some of the soaps I made in December and have decided to keep as part of my Basic range.

They are nice and gentle with lots of lovely soft lather. Customers have been really pleased with them and keep coming back for more.

The round bars are scented with Lemon Myrtle essential oil ($3.00 ea).

There are only a few more bars of the Lemon Myrtle soaps but I do have a Calendula and Nutmeg log which has just been unmolded and curing for now.

The rectangles are unscented but have a beautiful aroma from the ground nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled on the top ($3.50 ea).
