Super New Moon in Aries
The Super New Moon Eclipse in Aries
The last New Moon was a global event as it was an eclipse and very visible especially in the USA. Loads of people turned out in droves to view the eclipse – lucky people!!!
Here in Australia – we were fast asleep at the time of the eclipse and I have been away with my partner on an gastronomical road trip, eating and tasting our favourite foods in celebration of his milestone birthday. Today we are visiting his family and there are some gorgeous salt lakes surrounding the town. We stopped at this one and with the muted lighting and the moodiness it felt other worldly just being out there – walking out towards the lake on this raised bank that was created at this salt lake. The last time I tried to take a photo of a pretty salt lake on the way to Emu Bay several years ago…. I slipped while walking on the edge and I had great difficulty trying to climb back out off the edge of the lake… so I have not tried that since!!!
This New Moon in Aries is the start of the Zodiac year as Aries is the first sign of the zodiac – a new start, another opportunity to have a fresh start and work on adjusting/creating your vision board for the next 12 months.
The way I like to work on this is to work on the 12 houses using the birth chart as the template to see which zodiac sign influences the respective house and then I call in those energies to work on that aspect of my overall vision. It’s something I have been doing since late 2019 and more consistently since 2020. I find it really helpful to use this system to concentrate on one specific area of life specifically at every New Moon over the 12 different zodiac signs through the year – this way, I get to work on each of the 12 houses and ‘tidy them up’ through the year.
We also have Mercury in retrograde at this time for the next coupe of weeks until April 25th and being in Aries, it encourages us to pause and re-set – to think about where we are heading on our life path and drop in within ourselves to review our choices and intentions on where we want to go and who we want to be.
So, here’s to the start of a new cycle with lots of excitement and anticipation – remember to ground yourself when/if you feel ‘wobbly’, anxious or uncertain at any time.
Don’t be hasty.
Do be thoughtful and re-view, re-think, re-consider and take one firm step ahead at a time.
Thanks for being here – until the next post……..
